Parents come next week!

Thank you to those who have registered and enrolled. You have secured your spot in the 2nd year class. In 2nd year, parents only come five times a semester and we are on the keyboards.

P.S. If you know of anyone interested in Sound Beginnings (ages 0–4), 1st year Let’s Play Music (ages 5–6), or Presto (ages 7–12) classes for the Fall, please send them my contact information or direct them to the Infusing Music Studios website. Be sure they let me know that you referred them so you can receive your referral credit! $10 tuition credit for Sound Beginnings students and $25 tuition credit for Let's Play Music and Presto students once fall classes begin and they are enrolled.

​Homework: pp. 22–23 Students draw notes on the staff and identify melodic patterns. This is the beginning step for music dictation (the ability to write music from hearing it). We are preparing students to write their own composition in the 3rd year of Let's Play Music!

Dinosaur Song
Yesiree, your kiddo is reading music! They played the “Dinosaur Song” on the bells while reading the written notation. They did it by looking at the patterns of steps and skips. You should be so proud of them!
